have you put your MOHAA in safe mode because your graffix do normally go down when playing MOH if you have clicked that box.

Kenny, Sorry to say but the card you use is a little bit low (not so powerfull) to play mohaa with high settings. The FX 5500 is less powerfull than the FX5600 depending on the version. A Nvidia 6200 or a 6600 would be mutch better to play mohaa. The only thing that you can do is turn your video settings in Mohaa lower, for example a resolution 640x480, also turnig the textures down to 16 bits can help. In Mohaa you also have a lot of settings like sky or fog details, try to play without them. I do hope you have the latest Nvidia drivers for your card installed. Latest Nvidia DriverGood Luck m8

The latest drivers for Nvidia graphics cards is not always wise - it causes OpenGL probems for me - if this happens and you need an older version give me a shout.

Sorry to say it Kenny but boxer is telling the truth. if i was in your place i would sell the card and buy a 6600GT, you can play mohaa on highest settings with a fps more then 100. its not so expensive and its a very good card for MOHAA, i have also one but then the PCI-E version. Good luck M8 ps: if you don't have one when the meeting starts i buy one for you its a shame that a good player as you must play with a fps of 12

ok the order to go for ^_^
1)uninstall ALL the drivers start pc on the generic ones e.g. 640x480 max res 16bit etc then reinstall
2)try older drivers to eliminate the open gl problem
3) replace with your old card (if its not broken) and test both drivers
it may be a problem with the card or the drivers that way you cover both options
p.s did u uninstall the old card drivers or just install the new ones? sounds stupid but it can cause a conflict and screw things up
also the drivers on the cd may be older then the ones you had, this will really screw things up (dont forget its been sat in a stockroom for however long)
im only running a 5200 (i always play it on lower setting else i sit there looking at the scenery and effects rather then trying to kill people, eye candy is bad for your kills lmao!!!) and never drop anywhere near that low

well i use PANDA and some times it,s eating up all my cpu power up to 99% (FPS under 10)
so if you got that lag again try this
ctrl alt del find whats useing youre cpu power. if it's ure anti virus thingy (right klick on it)and set it to lower than normal. if it something els i don't no if its ok to changes the settings.
it works whit panda anti virus but when i got FPS drops again i have to repeat this again.

if you havnt installed any new software and it happened after the crash then thats what caused it
probabily a corrupted file in windoze, try reinstalling
if you did add new software just before the crash uninstall that first and try it
